Banana Oatmeal Muffins

I am on a semi-health kick and I'm trying to really cut back and healthify my baking. Therefore, beware of the applesauce replacing vegetable oil and whole wheat flour replacing all-purpose. HOWEVER!! Although these are healthier (to a certain extent...), they are still quite tasty if I do say so myself.


Ingredients:
1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
1 cup of whole wheat flour
1 cup of oats
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 1/2 mashed bananas (about 5, depending on the size of your bananas...)
1/4 cup of fat free milk


Steps:
1. Mix applesauce with sugar, then add eggs and vanilla.
2. Stir in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, oats and cinnamon.
3. Mix in the bananas and milk.
4. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 25 minutes.


*I also recommend adding some cinnamon chips... but that's just me.    :)
