Peanut Butter M&M Cookies

So you know when you're standing in the grocery store's baking isle, looking at all of the flavorings and chocolate and different kinds of chips and baking mixes and candy?

Yeah, that's what happened to me yesterday. I was standing there, standing there, standing there, thinking that I really wanted peanut butter and chocolate. Then I saw this bag of Mini M&M's. I have never seen them come in a large bag before and I got really excited, thinking that they would work perfectly in my M&M Chocolate Chip Cookies because I mean, mini chips, mini M&M's, right?

But I still really wanted peanut butter, so I grabbed some Peanut Butter M&M's, along with the Mini M&M's, checked out, went home, and concocted these treats!

Ingredients:
1 stick of unsalted butter
1/2 cup of smooth peanut butter
1/2 cup of sugar
1 cup of packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons of vanilla
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 bag of Mini M&M's
1 medium bag of Peanut Butter M&M's

Steps:
1. Beat peanut butter, butter, sugar and brown sugar together.
2. Taste test. (This is my favorite part...)
3. Beat in eggs, vanilla and salt.
4. Add flour and leavening agents.
5. Add as much of the M&M's as you wish.
6. Place dough balls in the baking sheet, and press down so that they are flattened on the top, just a little bit!
7. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for about 12 minutes.

Enjoy!!
