Peanut Butter Chocolate Crispies

I have this obsession with using the same base cookie dough recipe and then throwing in what ever small pieces of deliciousness I come across in the grocery store.

This time I just so happened to add M&Ms, chocolate chunks, peanut butter chips and rice krispies. Such. A good. Combination. I cannot. Even. Handle. It.

Recipe:
2 sticks butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups rice krispies
1 bag chocolate chunks
1 bag peanut butter chips
1-1 1/2 cup M&Ms

Instructions:
1. Cream butter and sugars together.
2. Add eggs and vanilla extract.
3. Mix in flour, salt and soda.
4. Add M&Ms, peanut butter chips, chocolate chunks and rice krispies.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes.

I like to keep my recipes simple because the simpler the recipe, the most likely for successful perfection. The butter, sugar, egg, and flour base is like a blank pallet to work off of. You can add anything else you'd like whether it be something like straight up peanut butter or toffee bits or oreos or M&Ms or chocolate chips or cinnamon chips or fluff swirls or maple extract or... well, I think you get the idea. Now, go be an artist!!
