Lazy People's Sugar Cookies

Let's get real, sometimes we just want to be extremely lazy and not take the time to chill, roll out and cut the dough for sugar cookies. It takes a lot of time and makes a mess that is even bigger than making regular drop cookies. Don't get me wrong, I am all for making messes. In my opinion, the bigger the mess, the more fun you had. However, lately I just haven't had the time or energy for traditional sugar cookies. Therefore, I went on a search for drop sugar cookie recipes and came up with this one from AllRecipes. They turned out fantastic!

I actually ended up making the dough the night before and putting it in the fridge then baking them the next day. I rolled them in a mix of different colored sugars (pink, red and white) to decorate them a little bit for Valentine's Day. I baked them up and shipped them off to North Carolina to my friend who goes to school there. She actually just called me up a few minutes ago telling me that they arrived fully intact and are muy delicioso!

I HIGHLY recommend using this recipe and using different colored sugars for different occasions! They were easy to make and totally worth the non-effort of avoiding rolling out and cutting the dough into cutesy shapes.
