Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hasn't it really been this long since I've last posted???? Time really does fly. But not really. I've just been supah busy. Who knew that fall of senior year was gonna be sucha killer?

And that is why we take time to bake!! College applications, skating, school and volleyball, not to mention attempting to maintain some level of sanity are tough to juggle sometimes. Every once in a while during times like these you just need to bake. And you need to bake more than just one thing. Sometimes you have to go crazy. I don't have time to go crazy, but I did make pumpkin break and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies in the same night.

Yes, I went pumpkin crazy, but it's fall for goodness sake! I love fall and the warm flavors it brings. Fall means transitioning into cinnamon and pumpkin, sweaters and jeans, coffee and fires. Basically, fall is my favorite thing ever. But this whole pumpkin this is really getting me. I love it so much.

Just look at that  beautiful color!!!!!! I've been wanting a crispier pumpkin cookie for a while now, and finally I have it thanks to my blog crush How Sweet It Is. She uses PUMPKIN BUTTER. Sounds gross right? Wrong. It smells amazing and putting it in cookies is the greatest thing ever. Going out to buy it also gave me an excuse to drive out to Trader Joe's instead of just stopping at Stop & Shop in town.

How spectacular is that?

Yeah. I can't get over it either...

Welp, have at it children! Follow the second recipe on this page for pure pumpkin success.
